today's wrap up

Nothing out of the ordinary today. Algeb, ELL, Englcom, Trigo.... After classes, went to EGI to finish the CWTS Project Proposal of constructing the mini library. Ave, the leader was playing dota while we trying to finish the whole thing before 5pm.[yes the deadline was today at 5pm and we only had like less that 30mins to finish it] Of course, we submitted it late.

Im still sick... Well, slightly.

Im so keyed up with the saturday's community service. Its the first time i'll be going with my block you see... Ehehe. Oh and i'll be going to PETA with them too. I told Ian that i wouldn't be going with him and would be going with my blockmates instead. Later on, i felt guilty of course. So in the end i told him that i would accompany him if he does not find anyone to go with him.

The sun was still up just now at 7pm. Pretty odd. && its raining right now.

Gawd... Being sick & rain is simply a PERFECT COMBINATION!

Gonna wake up early tomorrow to exercise. Planning to go to Robinsons before the 2pm game. I would if i have someone to go with. =P

touching story

Somewhere in Milaor, Camarines Sur, there lived a fourth grader boy who would follow this route to school everyday: He has to cross the ruggedplains and cross the dangerous highway where vehicles are recklesslydriving to and from. Once past this highway, the boy would take a short cut, passing by theChurch every morning just to say Hi to God, and faithfully sayhis, "Magandang umaga po" in Bicol dialect. He was faithfully beingwatched by a Priest who was happy to find innocence so uplifting in themorning,"Kamusta, Andoy? Papasok ka na?""Opo padre ... "he would flash his innocent grin, the priest would betouched. He was so concerned that one day he talked to Andoy."From school...", he advised "Do not cross the highway, you canpass through the Church and I can accompany you to the other side of theroad...that way I can see that you are home safe....""Thank you father ... " "Why don't you go home ... why do you stay inthis church right after school?""I just want to say 'Hi' to my friend, God," and the priestwould leave the boy to spend time beside the altar,talking to himself, but the priest was hiding behind the altar to listento what this boy has to say to his heavenly FATHER."You know my math exam was pretty bad today, but I did not cheat althoughmy seatmate is bullying me for notes... I ate one cracker and drank mywater, Itay had a bad season and all I can eat is this cracker.Thank you for this! I saw a poor kitten who was hungry and I know how hefeels so I gave my last cracker to him ... funny but I am not that hungry.Look, this is my last pair of slippers ...I may have to walk barefoot nextweek, you see this is about to be broken... but it is okay....at least I amstill going to school.... Oooops, I have to go ..." then he stoodup and calls out, "Padre, padre, I am finished talking to my friend ....youcan accompany me to the other side of the road now"This routine happens everyday. Andoy never fails. Father Agaton shares thisevery Sunday to the people in his church because he has not seen a verypure faith and trust in God, a very positive look at negative situations.One Christmas day, Father Agaton was sick so he could not make it in theChurch, he was sent to the hospital. The Church was left to 4 manangs whowould chant the rosary in 1000 miles per hour, would not smile and wouldalways find fault in what you do, they were also very well versed in cursingif you irritate them! They were kneeling, saying their kilometric rosarywhen Andoy, coming from his Christmas party,playfully dashed in."Hello God! I ......""P----!! (a curse) bata ka!! Alam mo nang may nagdadasal!! Alis!!"Poor Andoy was so terrified, "Where's Father Agaton? He is supposed tohelp me cross the street ... and to be able to cross the street I willhaveto pass by the back door of this church .not only that, I have to greetJesus. It is His birthday, I have a gift right here...." Just as he was about to get the gift out of his shirt, the manang pulledhis shirt and threw him out of the church. "Susmaryosep!!! (does the signof the cross fervently) Alis kang bata ka, kung hindi matatamaan ka!!!So the boy had no choice but to cross the dangerous side of the road infront of the church. He crossed. A fast moving bus came in.There was a blind curve. The boy was protecting his gift inside hisshirt,so he was not looking. There was so little time. Andoy died on the spot. Alot of people crowded the poor boy, the body of a lifeless young boy ...Suddenly, out of nowhere a tall man in a pure white shirt and pants, aface so mild and gentle, but with eyes full of tears... He came and carriedthe boy in His arms. He was crying. Curious bystanders nudged the man inwhite, and asked,"Excuse me sir, are you related to this child?Do you know this child?"The man in white, His face mourning and in agony, looked up andanswered,"He was my best friend . " was all he said. He took the badlywrapped gift in the bloody chest of the lifeless boy, and placed it nearHis heart.He stood up and carried the boy away and they both disappeared in sight.The crowd was curious ...On Christmas Eve, Father Agaton learned of the shocking news. He visitedthe house, and wanted to verify about the man in white. He consulted theparents of Andoy."How did you know that your son died?""A man in white brought him here." sobbed the mother. "What didhe say?"The father answered, "He did not say anything. He was mourning. We do notknow him and yet he was very lonely about our son's death, as if he knewour son very well. But there was something peaceful and unexplainable about him.Hegave me my son, and then he smiled peacefully. He brushed my son's hairaway from his face and kissed him on his forehead, then he whisperedsomething...""What did he say?""He said to my boy..." the father began, "Thank you for the gift... I will see you soon ... you will be with me..." and the fatherof the boy continued, "and you know for a while, it felt sowonderful ... I cried, but I do not know why....all I know is Icried tears of joy .... I could not explain it, Father, but whenthat man left, something peaceful came over me, I felt a deep senseof love inside ... I could not explain the joy in my heart, I knewmy boy is in heaven now but...tell me, Father, who is this man that my sontalks to everyday in your church, you should know because you are alwaysthere ... except at the time of his death ......"Father Agaton suddenlyfelt the tears welling in his eyes, withtrembling knees, he murmurred, " ... i know i'm not supposed to be up at this time of the day but my cough is really killing me. I got out of bed to drink water and turned off the air con as well since my back was freezing. Put some baby oil and it's helping a bit i think. I can't sleep now. Gahhh! I hate getting sick. Mom isn't here to tell me what medicine to take -.- This sucks big time!

I have a reading to do later at Chapel of Great Price[is this right? basta, its the la salle chapel] and gawd, i hope i don't cough in the middle of my reading. 1st reader pa man din. && OMG! swimming paaa. Dang, i am so dead.

Tropical Hut

Nothing much for CWTS just now except our project proposals for the Community Service. Became a part of the c..--- something activities. I forgot what it was naa. HAHAHA. Anyway, i was only interested in the mini fiesta where there'd be food. HAHAH. I was excited about the food organizing and deciding what food to bring. Which means i'm gonna go resto-hopping and go food tasting! WOOOO!!!!

Found out that we have to go to PETA for our Filipino. I don't know how to get there so i guess i'll just take the taxi. I'm not sure who's following me and Ian. It's gonna be on Aug. 3 at 3pm. I bet it's gonna be awfully boring!! And by the way, since i'll be absent next week for the midterms[yes, it was moved]due to my community service, i'll be writing the basifi exam on Thursday with Ian again i think. Yes, i think i'll get sick of him. HAHA. Joke!

Ate a boring Hawaiian hamburger at Tropical Hut just now. Didn't enjoy it much since my throat was not feeling so well but heck, i was hungry. Had a nice chat tho ;) HAHAHA. As always, it was Chino, Ave, Marcus and I. It's getting typical i think. I mean cs-ing, eating then ending up with some out of no where talks. It never gets boring. HAHA.

Now watching Gossip Girl again. So amazed by the dirtiness of these New Yorkers. How worse can they get. HAHA. I simply adore the bitchyness of Blair Waldorf. tsk tsk

PS: I got involved it the 'construction for a mini library' too in CWTS. HAHA. I love challenges and plus, i never had the building & painting experience all my life yet so i guess this is my first =P Sounds fun. Besides, if i'm gonna be specializing in the construction management 4-5 years later, might as well start from scratch and know basic things like building simple shelves and stuffs.

karaoke

had fun karaoke-ing and dang, i sweat a lot! Went to the KTV late cos i went home first so i just stayed for a while since they were about to finish when i arrived. Sad right? But it's cool =)

Off to study Filipino! Tomorrow's midterms! And i don't even have a friggin' clue on what to study cos we didn't have class last week cos i don't know why either. It was just canceled. Good thing i watch telenovelas! It helped me an awful lot with my filipino or should i say taglish. -- whatev it is, i have to pass this thing and get a quatro[i think thats how you spell it] GO KRESTA!

i know its pathetic that i'm actually cheering for myself but ima need it for today.


Off to study mode. But before that, ima go take a shower

Today was a bit unusual. We had a class for Social Science & Technology[SOCTEC] at 1pm. We do not usually have classes on Fridays except for Tutorial given by our seniors or maybe Apprenticeship for CES.

Anyway, Mr. Joe Sheiter[i think that's how you spell it] was there. An American-German? And there was another Filipino one. I didn't catch his name, sad to say. I'm not even sure he mentioned his name. But his life was rather interesting. Both their lives were interesting honestly. At least i learnt something from them. Why were they there? I think it's because we were supposed to ask them questions. They're scientists you see.... But of course, we didn't prepare any questions for them to answer although some did.. Like Mara which is not a surprise =p

On the way back home from school, me and my mates saw a python. A real show stopper! Daniel was like playing with it. EEEE. And Chino on the other hand was like "eeee it's so slimy". And he had the typical-chino-that's-grossed-out look. HAHA. Pat & Hector couldn't get close to it. Scared of course.

And for the record,,,, i'm now eating my 3rd Indomee for today. HAHHA. It's just soooo good and i'm hungry. Currently boiling water for my hot chocolate too.

Oh oh and Mark got his new Nikon D30. But he still thinks his Canon EOS 40D is better. My point? Why buy a camera that's not better than your current one? HAHA. Think dude! Anyway, he's inviting me for a pictorial. There's gona be a photo shoot, there's gonna be a photo shoot =P

After the trigo quiz, which was so-so,we went to play cs. It was ok, although the shop was hot. Here are some pictures of yesterday's block picture taking and after the picture taking.

By the way, today, La Salle played against University of Santo Tomas and guess what? La Salle won by a point! Close game eh?

I wanted to go and watch it live if only our trigo didn't finish at 4.10PM. The game started at 4PM and it takes 30minutes approximate to get to Ultra Stadium. GO LA SALLE! =D

ENGLCOM canceled!

Today was pretty much a waste. Had PERSEF which finished around 10.30am. Next class was ENGLCOM at 4.10pm and guess what? We found out it was canceled at 4.10pm. But went to school around 1pm cos there was block picture taking and i guess it went pretty well. I met the 'kuya' who was taking the picture and we had the same shoes[almost] It was Marc Ecko. His was for men of course. I didn't get his name tho. HAHA. Took more pictures later on.... Will post em soon =D

Here's a wrap up of everything that happened these few days. Watched the UAAP basketball game at Ultra Stadium on Saturday. La Salle against Far Eastern University. Of course, La Salle won! HAHAH. D...!L S....!U! ANIMO LA SALLE! HHAHAHA. GO La Salle. Me and Reggie were practically screaming our lungs out. HAHAH.

And on Monday, it was Mom's birthday. I just got to greet her Happy Birthday through text message. I don't know if she received it cos they planned to sleep overnight in a hotel. I also don't know if its a hotel in Miri or Bandar.

Anyway, tomorrow is my big trigo quiz. Notice that every quiz is a big deal? HAHAH. Cos IT IS A BIG DEAL!

i am so uber frustrated with myself. I found the Algeb quiz tough even if i spent 3days kicking myself to solving more and more Algeb questions. Sigh! I tried hard.

It all comes down to one thing again.

i'm just taking a break from all those algeb questions and i'm really doing this in a hurry so i can get back to it. I know, how nerdy right? Today was overall a humiliating day for me. Or should i say embarrassing? Either way, it was not a bit pleasant for me.

First of all, there was this Job Expo at the hall next to central hall... I saw this Zagu drink stall and it caught my eye. I wanted to look for drinks but they weren't making one and the next thing i know, Alvin was telling me that i entered from the 'exit' side and i had to enter from the front and pay some fees. HAHAHA.

Secondly, i accidentally went in the male's toilet in school. My friends told me that Cheska[a female friend if its not too obvious] was in the toilet. So when i went in the toilet i was like... "Cheska?" And there were no replies but just the sound of someone peeing in one cubicle. When i went out, a guy came in and i was like o.o OMG! hahahaha! And Patrick told me i went in the Male's toilet. HAHAHA.

And i was lucky that the guy peeing in the male's toilet was Alvin! HAHAHA. He was the reason why we were infront of the toilets in the first place. I scolded him for keeping quiet when i entered cos he knew that i went in. He could tell from the voice but instead he kept quiet and his reason was because he was about to be done peeing so he couldn't reply "CHESKA IS NOT HERE!"





Tomorrow, we shall roll like the emos do it =) HAHAHA

well, i saw this picture and it really caught my eye. Genial eh? I had a dream last night that someone was catching me up a flight of stairs and well, the person was really fast. It was a guy. And i happen to know that person, in the dream and it feels like i know that person in person as well but i just can't remember who it was on my dream. Anyway, as usual, it had no end nor beginning.

I know i'm supposed to be doing a lot of ALGEBRA questions and i have, just not a lot. I did a few last night.. like 7 questions? Then i hit the bed cos i was really drained out. Hey, it was a long monday! Plus, i had swimming classes first thing in the morning. You can't really blame me for wanting to sleep early. && im a lazy pig *snort snort*


PS: My fingernails aren't black anymore. =)
